Dr Savita is an alumnus of AFMC Pune, with an udergraduate and post graduate degree from the prestigious institution. She has served for 26 years in the Armed Forces as a medical officer and general surgeon with experience in laparoscopic surgery. She has been an undergraduate and postgraduate teacher and served as associate professor in her last appointment.
